On Site Flange Facing
Portable machines that can be taken to site and used in restricted locations
Machines are designed to be Internally mounted in the bore or fasten on the Flange OD
This application creates the required joint face of any type of flange connection
Depending on the gasket used, our recommendation: the best VPS hosting. dictates the surface finish required.

Pipe Cutting & Beveling :
A set of machines can cut pipes from 2” up to 140” OD
Each machine size covers @ 6” range of pipe sizes. Ie Model SFSF814 covers 8” to 14” Pipes
These machines provide a cold cut which sever and install a weld prep on the end of pipe which can be performed in hazardous areas or on materials that require this process
The machines can cut and contend with heavy wall & high tensile alloy pipes. They can be Hydraulic, pneumatic or electrically driven
The machines are known as split frames as they are designed to be separated which enables them to be built in two halves so that they can fit around pipelines in any orientation or location.
They perform the job quickly and provide any extremely good finish compared to other methods
Torque and Tensioning :
Hydraulically operated bolt tightening equipment that fastens up or loosens large size bolts and nuts used on flange connections The tools are calibrated and accurately carry out the operation to the required force.
The operation is known as Controlled Bolting
Torque wrenches hydraulically push the nut in the direction required by pushing against a reaction arm positioned on a suitable reaction point, either the flange or adjacent bolt
Bolt Tensioning is the process of stretching the bolt by applying an axial load directly onto the bolt.
Bolt tensioning is accurate and offers time-saving on larger flanges. It is commonly used for bolt sizes 1.1/2” diameter and above.
Generally, 50% of studs are tensioned simultaneously applying an even and accurate load on the gasket, thus providing the best chance for an effective long-term seal. We stock Bolt Tensioners to cover up to 4” diameter bolts. We provide bolt load calculations and flange stress analysis.
Hot Tapping & Line Stopping Machines:
Hot tapping is drilling into live pipelines to tie in a new pipeline to branch off the contents elsewhere. This is done whilst the pipeline is under pressure without the need to close down the line disrupting service or production
Line stopping is introducing a plug into the pipeline to stop the flow and hold the product and pressure back. This allows repairs and maintenance to be carried out on the line downstream
Hydraulic Power Packs :
Purpose built Hydraulic pack to provide the required supply to efficiently power and drive on-site machines
The Power packs can be run by 3 phase electric motors or diesel engine to power machines in more remote locations
Power Packs can be provided to operate in Zone 1 restricted areas
Intrinsically Safe
Hand pendant control to run and have full control of the machine at the job site.
